Like many other recruits, St. Peter’s Prep (NJ) three-star quarterback Tahj Bullock has had to adjust his recruitment a bit. He got in a pair of junior days early in the year, to Rutgers and Syracuse, before the Covid-19 pandemic set in. In the time since, there have been multiple virtual visits.

With the NCAA recruiting dead period extended to July 31, Bullock is now taking another step. This weekend, he’ll make his first visit to Virginia Tech. He won’t interact with coaches or players, but Bullock said he needs to see the campus for himself, in order to keep his recruitment moving along and make an informed decision.

“I just want to look at the atmosphere, the culture,” he said. “They’re starting to move back on campus. I just want to put myself there and see if I can see myself there.”
