Virginia Tech picked up a big commitment from 4-star Texas wide receiver Latrell Neville on Sunday, but that’s not the only recruiting news.  The Hokies appear to be picking up some serious steam with some of their other top prospects as well.  In fact, 247Sports Director of Recruiting Steve Wiltfong put in a Crystal Ball prediction for Virginia Tech for three of the Hokies’ top targets over the weekend.

You have to take Crystal Ball (referred to as CBs on the message board) predictions with a grain of salt.  Some random guy who works for the Utah site could put in a Crystal Ball prediction for a random recruit, forget that he did it, and then never update it as that players’ recruitment draws to a close.  However, Wiltfong generally doesn’t submit his predictions until he’s absolutely sure, or at least pretty sure.

Here is Wiltfong’s history for correct picks, both for the 2021 class and all-time…

2021: 80 out of 81 (98.77% correct)
All-Time: 2,362 out of 2,624 (90.2% correct)
