North Shore (TX) four-star offensive lineman Jaeden Roberts still remembers how much fun he had as a kid when he was around animals. His grandparents owned a cattle and horse farm in rural Kansas, and Roberts often visited.

Those fond memories could have a big impact on Roberts’ future. Because of that experience on the farm, he said he wants to major in agriculture, with the intent of becoming a veterinarian. When poring over his now 28 scholarship offers, Roberts said his career plans will play a role on where he chooses to attend and play college football.

“I’d always be around the animals (at his grandparents’ farm),” he said. “I just started loving that, loving animals and said, I’m going to do it when I’m older.
