Virginia Tech didn’t have nearly as many true freshmen make an impact on the defensive side of the ball as they did on offense.  In fact, only two played a big role on defense, both of them at the same position of defensive tackle.

Today we’ll take a final look at the true freshmen defensive players in 2019, and discuss the future that each of them could have in Blacksburg.  That task is made a lot more difficult by the fact that nearly the entire Virginia Tech defensive staff has been overhauled, and we aren’t sure what to expect from a scheme standpoint.
