It’ll be a busy next few months for Glenn (NC) 2021 three-star linebacker Raneiria Dillworth (Nickname: ‘Ra Ra’). With six offers already to his credit, planned visits could really fire up his recruitment.

Dillworth claims offers to this point from West Virginia, Virginia Tech, South Carolina, Indiana, Liberty and Temple. He also has visits set Jan. 15 to Tennessee, Jan. 25 to West Virginia and Feb. 1 to Alabama. Dillworth said Virginia Tech, South Carolina and Clemson are next in line. It’s all part of the process that by the end of the spring could result in some major movement.

“I’m looking for the home feeling, what they have to offer in academics,” Dillworth said. “Most definitely home, though, because I want to go somewhere that feels like where you’re from.”

Dillworth, Rivals.com’s No. 18 outside linebacker for 2021, visited Blacksburg for two games this fall, when the Hokies played Duke and Old Dominion. Both trips gave him a good feel for the football program and school.

“The atmosphere is crazy,” Dillworth said. “It’s definitely a good school. I know some of the people on the team, like Tre Turner, I’m cool with him.

“He just told me, I asked why he picked Virginia Tech. He said it felt like home, the players broke him in and it felt like family. They treated him right. It makes me feel like I can go in and know people. I’ll already know someone.”
