TreVeyon Henderson has recently been bumped up to a 4-star recruit, and he is drawing heavy interest from schools all around the country.

To him it wasn’t a surprise, but seeing his name at No. 64 in the latest release of the 2021 Rivals rankings, Hopewell (Va.) running back TreVeyon Henderson got a bit of vindication, after previously being a three-star recruit.

In helping the Blue Devils go 15-0 this season to claim the VHSL Class 3 championship, Henderson ran for 2,424 yards and 45 touchdowns. He added another 283 yards and five touchdowns receiving. Henderson’s stock has been among the highest in the 2021 class, with 30 offers, most recently from West Virginia, Nebraska, Temple, Northwestern, Maryland and Georgia. He’s also still gathering intel to move his recruitment closer to a decision.

“It means a lot, but I can’t let it satisfy me or anything,” Henderson said. “I’ve just got to continue to go hard, strive for more. It’s a good thing, though. Seeing three stars last year, now four stars, it’s a good thing.”
