The 2021 In-State Defensive Line Class, and the Future of Virginia Tech Defensive Line Recruiting

The first Signing Day of the 2020 class is tomorrow, and it appears Virginia Tech is going to close fairly strong on the defensive line thanks to the on-campus visits of this past weekend.  However, today I want to take a look ahead to what the 2021 in-state class offers in terms of defensive linemen.

I though the 2020 in-state class was pretty ho-hum overall.  The 247 Composite 2020 rankings have just six Virginia players as 5-star and 4-star players, and one of those is 160-pound cornerback Keontae Jenkins, who is going to a school (TCU) in a conference where not a lot of defense is played.
