Virginia Tech Trending Taller At Defensive End?

Virginia Tech got a commitment from defensive end Justin Beadles over the weekend, and they are targeting several more D-end prospects.  Each of those guys is listed at 6-3 or taller.  I’m starting to sense a slight trend that Tech is trying to get some more length on the roster at defensive end.

Here are the heights of Virginia Tech’s current defensive end two-deep…

Emmanuel Belmar: 6-2
TyJuan Garbutt: 6-1
Jaylen Griffin: 6-1
Eli Adams: 5-11

Tech does use Jaevon Becton, who is 6-4, but he didn’t get as much playing time as the four players listed above.
