Offensive Tackle, Class of 2021
Robinson High School, Fairfax, VA
6-6, 275

If anyone should know about family bloodlines in football, it’s Virginia Tech. The Hokies have had a slew of relatives play for them through the years, including the Fuller brothers (Kendall, Kyle and Corey), the Hopkins brothers (Antoine and Derrick) and the Edmunds brothers (Tremaine, Terrell and Trey).

It’s the latter that Robinson (Va.) 2021 four-star offensive tackle Tristan Leigh has grown up familiar with. Leigh is cousins with the Edmunds brothers, through their father, Ferrell Edmunds. That association has helped with Leigh’s knowledge of Virginia Tech as he continues to look at all of his options and take visits to get to know them more.

“I talk to Terrell the most,” Leigh said. “We were talking after church, and he said it’s like a home away from home when you’re there. He said I can just carry on the tradition. I didn’t feel any pressure from him. He just said it’s a good place to be and that they’ll take care of you. That (talk) was a short time, because their family does events after church and they had to get to one. But next time I see him, he’ll give me the scoop about it more.”
