Just a few days after receiving an offer from Virginia Tech, Manchester (Va.) 2019 three-star guard Will Pritchard found himself in the Hokies’ weight room, at one of their camps. He was in a group with offensive linemen Bryan Hudson and Jesse Hanson, who had already committed to Tech.

The three linemen talked and got to know each other in between their workouts. The following day, Pritchard camped at Tennessee, but it was that early experience with the Hokies that Pritchard still looks back on as part of what led him to commit and later sign with Virginia Tech, in December.

The family feel for Pritchard was inescapable. While his sister and other factors played into his decision, overall, Pritchard said he just felt comfortable with his surroundings with the Hokies.
