1) Do you feel we have addressed our needs enough that we will be more competitive in all our games? The guys always played hard I thought, but not well at times. I’m figuring 8-4/9-3 because of the schedule, but hoping we have none of the futile losses. Thoughts? – Green Street

Chris Coleman: Recruiting classes are rarely about addressing immediate needs. Recruiting classes are about addressing needs that you project to have 2-4 years down the line. If a coach tries to fill too many immediate needs with true freshmen, then he’s going to be an ex-coach sooner rather than later.
