Status: Bowick enrolled at Virginia Tech in January.

Considering his offer list, Elijah Bowick is criminally underrated.  Notre Dame was really on him to flip back in the summer and early in the season, but he stayed true to his commitment to the Hokies, partly because his mother was firmly in Virginia Tech’s corner.

Bowick was sort of a late bloomer in this day and age, and perhaps if he had broken out one year earlier he would have had more scholarship offers.  Here are his year-by-year stats…

Freshman: 22 catches, 280 yards, 12.7 ypc, 4 TDs (in four games)
Sophomore: 68 catches, 1,140 yards, 16.8 ypc, 19 TDs
Junior: 58 catches, 1,006 yards, 17.3 ypc, 10 TDs
Senior: 62 catches, 1,424 yards, 23 ypc, 17 TDs

He put up very good numbers as a junior, and great numbers as a senior.  Every one of his statistics improved on a year-by-year
