By Saturday afternoon, Knoxville Catholic (Tenn.) four-star guard Bryn Tucker was struggling. It wasn’t that his visit to Virginia Tech was bad. He was coming down with the flu. By Sunday, Tucker had a fever of 104 degrees.           

Despite being sick, Tucker said his visit over the weekend was a big one. Though he has two more visits he knows he’ll be taking, he now also has a firm member of his top three.           

“I felt like this was probably the best visit of all four (Virginia Tech visits) I’ve been on,” Tucker said. “They showed me the business department, what I want to major in. That’s the first time a school has done that. That’s touching because that shows they really want me a lot.”
