Publicly, Woodward Academy (Ga.) three-star running back Tahj Gary is holding to a top eight. He released that list in May, which consisted of Virginia Tech, Purdue, Arkansas, Georgia Tech, Kentucky, Boston College, North Carolina and South Carolina.           

Over the past few months, Gary, Rivals.com’s No. 35 running back and No. 63 player in Georgia, has taken a few visits. He’s gone in-depth on a few programs he especially likes, and now he’s ready to make a decision.           

Next Friday (Oct. 12), Gary will announce his commitment at his high school team’s pre-game pep rally. Still, that won’t exactly be the end of his recruitment, but it will provide a bit more clarity.
