It’s been over a year since Ensworth (Tenn.) 2020 four-star defensive end Tyler Baron injured his shoulder. In the summer of 2017, he suffered a torn labrum.

Baron played through the injury last season and had surgery in January. Over seven months later, he’s still not fully healed, but it hasn’t slowed him down. Baron began the season with 11 tackles and a pair of sacks through two games.

Now at 22 offers, Baron’s recruitment hasn’t slowed much, either. Ranked No. 88 in the 2020 Rivals100, he now counts 22 offers, most recently from Alabama and Penn State. While Baron has just one tentatively scheduled visit this fall, it’s now a matter of being able to narrow his focus more, as well as continuing to get back to full health.
