The speed is there, without question. Thomas Dale (Va.) 2020 four-star running back Chris Tyree has posted some impressive running times. There was the 4.45 40-yard dash that he ran as the fastest man at Nike’s The Opening Finals. That followed a 4.38 mark he ran at the camp’s regionals.           

Not surprisingly, his high school team wants to maximize his usage. It’s also a move that could help Tyree, No. 53 in the 2020 Rivals100 and the nation’s top-ranked all-purpose back for his class, get exactly where he wants to be for his college career.           

Tyree currently sits at 27 offers. He took a few visits this summer that have given him more perspective on a few of his options. While his recruitment won’t quite be at the forefront with his junior season underway tomorrow, Tyree has a good sense of which suitors are contenders and pretenders.
