There’s been some change in the way Patriot (Va.) three-star offensive tackle Jakai Moore looks at his recruitment. That’s come with experience and seeing both sides of two sports.

Moore’s future almost certainly lies in football, where he has 22 offers, most recently from Clemson, Pittsburgh and Florida. He has no offers on the basketball side, but playing in the Adidas Gauntlet series for the Playmakers has helped him have an overall perspective of his recruitment.

And despite his busy schedule (The Playmakers have played in five recent weekend tournaments), Moore has taken a handful of visits. He has more coming, too, with a trim to his list not far behind. But now, it’s getting his body in better shape for both sports.
