This spring has been a busy one for Woodland Hills (Pa.) 2020 tight end Josh Rawlings. In January, he picked up his first two offers, from Toledo and Howard. But in the past few weeks, Rawlings has been busy looking at a few power five schools.
This past weekend, Rawlings was at Penn State’s spring game. The weekend before, he was at Virginia Tech’s. And with a host of schools staying in contact, Rawlings said he feels good about his overall recruitment, which is still in its infancy.
“I feel like I’m in the beginning stages,” Rawlings said. “Now, I’m getting more power five schools starting to find interest in me. I feel like the sky’s the limit. This upcoming season’s going to be big for me. I feel like I didn’t accomplish as many goals as a sophomore as I wanted to, so I need to do a lot as a junior.”
Carrying a 4.0 grade point average, Rawlings said he’s also heard from West Virginia, Pittsburgh, Michigan, Michigan State, Northwestern, Central Michigan and Western Michigan. Overall, though, he’s just starting to get into his recruitment.
