Other Power 5 offers: Eight or nine, depending on which site you use.  ESPN lists him with an offer from Clemson, while Rivals and 247Sports do not.  However, all sites lists him with offers from schools such as Michigan and Florida.

Chamarri Conner comes to Virginia Tech from Trinity Christian in Jacksonville, Fla. Trinity Christian went 9-4 this season in their first year at the 5A level in Florida after winning four consecutive state championships.  This is a winning program that produces multiple Power 5 football players every season, including former Virginia Tech wide receiver Isaiah Ford.

Conner has very high upside and a very heavy shoulder.  As always, it’s nice to be able to land a prospect with offers from schools such as Florida, Michigan, South Carolina and other major programs.  The Hokies targeted Conner early, and he was the third commitment of the 2018 recruiting class.
