This fall, Hillside (NC) 2019 defensive lineman David Madzivanyika (6-3, 240) took in a number of visits. Nov. 18, though, might have been the most action-packed.

Madzivanyika started the day at Virginia Tech for an early win over Pittsburgh. Afterward, he and his father booked it in just under two hours to Wake Forest, for its upset win over NC State. The two stops gave Madzivanyika a good look at a pair of possible options. With only one offer, however, from Charlotte, he’s taking his time in waiting for all of his offers to surface.

“I’m looking for academics and if they have things I’m interested in,” Madzivanyika said. “I want to do biomedical engineering and try to become an orthopedic surgeon, like pre-med. As a team, I want to be a part of a family environment. Distance doesn’t really matter, if I feel [it’s] like a family wherever I am. Preferably still on the east coast, but I wouldn’t mind traveling.”

Madzivanyika took in multiple games this fall. His stops included North Carolina, Appalachian State, and two visits to Charlotte.
