1) How do you see the rain affecting our matchup with Duke? – CochraneResident

Chris Coleman: Before I get started on this question, I think we should all take a vow to not complain about the rain if the Hokies don’t play well, or somehow manage to lose the game. It would be a bad look to use rain as an excuse after spending the last year making fun of North Carolina fans for using the rain as an excuse in last year’s 34-3 shellacking in Chapel Hill.  So consider this to be a solemn promise from me not to talk about the rain in the event of a poor performance or a loss tomorrow.

Right now the forecast is calling for 0.66 inches of rain during the evening on Saturday. suggests 0.47 inches between 7 p.m. and 10 p.m.  While that’s not ideal, I don’t see anything that’s suggesting this will be like the 2007 Boston College game, the 2003 Texas A&M game, or the 2009 Miami game.  It’s going to rain, but it doesn’t look like it’s going to be a gully washer or anything like that. 

I’m not sure it’s even going to be all that cold.  Here’s a screencap of the complete forecast…
