Chris Coleman: Phillips apparently hasn’t gone through contact practices this week…whatever that means. The reality is there isn’t much contact in practice anymore at the higher levels of football. The Hokies don’t even tackle to the ground in middle drill anymore. A player from 10-20 years ago would scoff at that notion, but that’s the way it is.
