Class of 2019 Defensive End Savion Jackson Talks Recent Visit to Virginia Tech

The offers have continued to trickle in for Class of 2019 defensive end Savion Jackson. The junior from Clayton, N.C. said recent offers from Alabama and Ohio State have given him 16 offers in total.

Jackson got a second look at one of those offers this weekend. On Saturday, he was back at Virginia Tech for the Hokies’ win over Old Dominion.

The trip to Blacksburg gave Jackson a bit of a different perspective. 

“I met coaches I hadn’t met before,” Jackson said of his Virginia Tech visit. “I’ve just talked to them on the phone before I went. Just seeing their atmosphere and the entrance, seeing everything they do, it was cool. I heard the entrance was a good one, one of the best, so it was good seeing that.”

Jackson, who is rated as a consensus 4-star recruit, was last in Blacksburg for a spring practice. Saturday marked his first gameday experience at Lane Stadium.
