Reflections, WVU: Hokies Come Through Against the ‘Eers

First of all, a quick thank you to everyone reading this, because that means you’re a TSL subscriber, and we really appreciate it. It’s not just about the subscription dollars — it’s about the way you participate. As I write this, in the last two hours there have been 135 posts on our subscribers-only board, but just 41 posts on our free football board.

With the rise of social media in the last 7-8 years, more and more people are just hanging out on Twitter, Facebook, Instagram and Snapchat to talk Hokie sports, so it has drained posting activity on our free boards. But you guys have been keeping the Subscribers-only board rolling and interesting, and we greatly appreciate it.

This version of Monday Thoughts (usually called “Reflections” when it comes out on a different day) will be a little abbreviated. I traveled to the game and didn’t get my re-watch finished until 1:30 a.m. last night, then had a volunteer responsibility until about 11 a.m. today. So to get this out on Tuesday, I’m going to have to cut it a little short.
