KJ Henry likes Tech a lot…but will it be enough to beat out Clemson?

Virginia Tech is expected to get a commitment on the defensive side of the ball on Thursday night.  Here’s an updated look at the defensive target board, and my thoughts on some of the major prospects.  Not too much has changed over the course of the last month.

Defensive End

Commits: 0

Projected Class: 1-2

Since the Hokies took three defensive ends in the 2017 class and two (counting Emmanuel Belmar) in 2016, there is not a huge need for ends in this class. When you consider that Vinny Minota is the oldest end in the program and he is only a redshirt-junior, you know that Tech is stacked with young ends.

Still, I think the coaching staff would like to have a solid defensive end in this class, and they might take two also, depending on which two they could get. Here’s a look at some of the possibilities‚Ķ
