Football recruits often use the summer before their senior season to visit schools they haven’t seen, so that they can begin to narrow things down in the fall. Cam Goode is ahead of that point in the process, and is already beginning to narrow things down.

Goode, a 3-star defensive tackle from Washington, D.C., announced on June 1 that he had narrowed down his list to eight schools — Arizona, Indiana, Michigan State, Pittsburgh, Rutgers, Temple, Virginia and Virginia Tech.

Of those eight schools, Goode has yet to visit Arizona, Indiana and Michigan State. This spring, Goode did take visits to multiple schools, as well as participate in three camps — The Opening regional outside D.C., the Rivals camp in New Jersey and the Under Armour camp in Baltimore. After battling through camps at The Opening, Goode performed much better in Jersey.
