Virginia Tech is putting together quite the recruiting haul as far as the passing game goes. The Hokies have a commitment from a 4-star quarterback and a pair of 4-star receivers, according to TSL’s rankings. Today we’re going to take a closer look at this group of players, as well as discuss what kind of an impact the Tre Turner commitment could make in the state of North Carolina.

Every Virginia Tech commitment at quarterback and wide receiver is rated as a 4-star prospect by at least one recruiting service. 247Sports also has Quincy Patterson and Darryle Simmons among the top 3-star prospects in the country. Virginia Tech’s passing game is attracting a lot of high-profile prospects.

ESPN likes Tech’s commits more than any other service. They rank six of Tech’s nine commitments as 4-star prospects, and four of them have a ranking in the ESPN Top 300 for 2018.
