Virginia Tech Recruiting Targets: Offense

With guys like Quincy Patterson coming on board, QB recruiting has taken a big step forward.

Recruiting is starting to pick up. The Hokies hosted a large number of visitors over the course of spring practice, and the Tech coaches are now out on the road evaluating and recruiting. It’s time for an update on how 2018 recruiting is shaping up. Today we’ll start with the offensive side of the ball.

Keep in mind that it’s still early. We are including links to our target board that lists each player Tech has offered at each position, but I’m only going to talk about those players who I feel the Hokies have a decent chance to land. More offers will come as the coaches evaluate during the spring and summer.  


Commits (1): Quincy Patterson

Projected Class: 1-2

Virginia Tech had a decommit yesterday from quarterback DeJuan Ellis. Ellis was the type that was recruiting other players to Tech very hard, and the staff was blindsided when he decided to decommit. In fact, he wrote his decommit note (see the pic below) on April 24, but didn’t announce it until yesterday.
