Jalen Holston seems to be the premiere running back target for Virginia Tech right now, as the Hokies are hoping to continue their hot streak on the recruiting trail.
Virginia Tech has yet to receive a commitment from a running back for the Class of 2017, and Holston’s commitment would sure up a class that’s starting to look somewhat promising.
Holston, a 3-star recruit who stands at 5-foot-11 and 200-pounds, most recently visited Virginia Tech in June, and is planning another visit to Blacksburg this Saturday, Aug. 13.
Holston didn’t say that Virginia Tech was his leader, but said they are still in contention.
“Yeah, I want to say they are right up there on my list,” Holston said.
Holston’s interest in Virginia Tech stems from his relationship with the coaching staff, most notably Running Backs Coach Zohn Burden.
