I was originally going to write about the wide receivers today, but Bud Foster’s comments about the secondary piqued my interest, so I’ve decided to tackle that subject instead.

We all know the Hokies had a very young defensive backfield last season, and as a result the performance of the group wasn’t up to par.  It was good for most schools, but it wasn’t what we’re used to in Blacksburg.  With more experienced players, that should change this season
