Virginia Tech In The Mix For Postseason Basketball

With a 15-13 record, Virginia Tech has a chance to make the postseason for the first time since 2011.  It might require a strong finish, and certainly it would require a winning record, but with a road game at lowly Wake Forest and two home games, the schedule is favorable.

Before we get too deep into this article, I want everyone to pause and be thankful that we’re even having this conversation.  We’re Virginia Tech basketball fans.  We don’t get to talk about good things very often, so I want everyone to take a moment and reflect.  Raise your hand if you thought we’d be having this conversation back in November when Tech lost to Alabama State, or on December 30 when they were blown out at home by West Virginia and dropped to 8-5 heading into ACC play.  Yeah, my hand is down, too.

Okay, reflection time is over.  Let’s talk about the postseason.
