Andy Bitter wrote an enlightening article today covering the success – or lack thereof – of the 2011 recruiting class. In hindsight, that was a poor recruiting class for the Hokies, with very few players going on to become major contributors.

It’s easy to sit around and blast past recruiting classes with the benefit of hindsight. It’s interesting in some ways, but what’s more interesting is to go back and read what we said about the class at the time it signed. That’s what I’m going to do today. I’m going to analyze my own analysis of the 2011 recruiting class.
