I was going to write this basketball preview during the bye week, but obviously something came up to short-circuit that idea. With the season starting in just two days, it’s time to finally get to it.

The Hokies went 11-22 last season and finished in last place in the ACC for the fourth year in a row at 2-16. The good news is that they played better towards the end of the season, taking Duke to overtime and beating Wake Forest in the ACC Tournament. Defensive efficiency: #294
Rebounding rate: #339
