(UPDATE: Per BeamerBall.com, Wolfolk has officially signed with Virginia Tech. Click here for the tweet.)

Dr. Henry Wise (Upper Marlboro, MD) senior defensive back prospect Myles Wolfolk plans to sign grant-in-aid paperwork with Virginia Tech this morning. He’ll be the fourth high school senior to sign with the Hokies this week, joining quarterback Joshua Jackson, wide receiver Sam Denmark and defensive end Jimmie Taylor IV.

“Of course I’ve been committed for a long time now,” said Wolfolk, who verbally committed to Virginia Tech last December. “I feel like it was a great decision for me to make. I’m ready to get there as fast as possible. I’m excited to build my relationship with Coach Gray. We talk a lot now. I call him on the phone a lot, but I’m excited to build relationships with him, the other coaches, and the players.”

The consensus 3-star recruit said, “I have no concerns,” when asked for his thoughts on the Virginia Tech football program.

“Hopefully, when I get there I can help make them better,” Wolfolk continued.

Hearing him discuss his role as a senior, it appears Wolfolk, one of Wise varsity football’s captains this season, has all the makings of a future leader at Virginia Tech.

“Being one of the leaders and captains and best players on the team, I try not to come off the field. I’ve worked so hard to be able to come back and dominate this year,” said Wolfolk, who plays offense, defense and special teams.
