1) Are you surprised that Bud Foster publically called Deon Clarke “inconsistent?” What’s going on there? Is he upset about the seeming lack of effort on some plays in the Miami game? Has the lack of discipline on Clarke’s part finally pushed Bud to speed up Tremaine Edmunds‘ development? – maroonhiker

Chris Coleman: I’m a little bit surprised he said it in a public setting during Tuesday’s media session. Foster usually backs up his players completely. That being said, I remember him being a bit critical of Clarke’s consistency during a BeamerBall.com interview last season, so maybe I shouldn’t be surprised. I’ve thought Clarke has been inconsistent all year, and was inconsistent for most of the season last year as well.
