NC State: The Cure For What Ails You?

Late in Friday night’s game, the parallels with the 2010 game at NC State intrigued me, and I tweeted this:

It’s a fun exercise to expand on that a little bit, so let’s do it.

In 2010, the Hokies had lost The Game of Which We Shall Not Speak to open the season, 33-30. Then they lost The Other Game of Which We Shall Not Speak, 21-16. Then they beat ECU 49-27 and Boston College 19-0 to arrive at an uninspiring 2-2, with NC State next on the schedule.

In 2015, Tech was 2-3 going into Friday’s game, with consecutive losses to ECU and Pittsburgh.
