Virginia Tech Recruiting Notes: Linemen Impress At June 14 Camp

This past weekend was an eventful one for Virginia Tech football, which hosted separate one-day camps on Saturday and Sunday as well as some top recruits on unofficial visits.

WEEKEND VISITORS

Forest Park (Woodbridge, VA) wide receiver Eric Kumah took an unofficial visit to Virginia Tech this past Saturday. On Sunday, the 6’3”, 200-pound rising senior revealed his final five: Virginia Tech, Miami, NC State, Kentucky and Maryland.

Kumah listed the five schools in the order listed above; however, he later added that there was no specific order to the list. Click here to view his tweet.

On Sunday, class of 2016 targets including 5-star quarterback Jawon Pass and 4-star offensive lineman Johncarlo Valentin were in Blacksburg on unofficial visits.

Pass, who looks to be a solid 6’5” if not 6’6”, plays for Carver High School in Columbus, Georgia. Pass made the trek with four teammates, but as of now he would be Virginia Tech’s top target at the school. Alabama, Auburn, Louisville and North Carolina join Virginia Tech in the standout
