You’ll probably get Adonis Alexander and Adonis Williamson mixed up when you see their names on a depth chart. However, it’s easy to tell them apart in person. Williamson is 6-1, 180. Alexander is 6-3, 193. Alexander’s got a huge frame and very long arms. He still needs to fill out and develop his body into that of an ACC football player, but it’s obvious that the potential is there.
Alexander blew up in offseason testing, running around a 4.5 40 (according to Mike Gentry in Tuesday’s media session before the first spring practice) and recording a vertical jump of 41 inches. Those are very impressive numbers, especially considering the numbers he put up in a camp last spring/summer…
40: 4.92 seconds
Shuttle: 4.72 seconds
Vertical: 33.1 inches
