1) When the football season is finished this year, who do pick to be the biggest surprise on the team?

Chris Coleman: That’s a good question. Considering the amount of youth on offense that has never played a down in college football, there are certainly a lot of options to choose from when trying to pick the “biggest surprise.”

I’m going with Chuck Clark. Your average Virginia Tech fan who doesn’t have a TSL subscription probably doesn’t know who Chuck Clark is. He got his feet wet as a true freshman last year, playing 145 plays on defense and 154 on special teams. He saw action at nickel on defense, but was overlooked because fellow true freshmen defensive backs Kendall Fuller and Brandon Facyson were so good.
