Tremaine Edmunds has not definitively decided on his college future, but he said today he thinks “I’ve gathered all the information. I think I’m coming close to a decision.”
Edmunds, a 6’4”, 225-pound outside linebacker recruit out of Dan River High School (Ringgold, VA), will announce his college choice on Thursday, July 31, on WSLS Roanoke Channel 10. The finalists are Maryland, Southern Cal, Virginia Tech and Wake Forest. The standout athlete was asked to discuss what he likes most about each of the finalists.
Maryland – “The coaching staff. Coach (Andre) Powell has been around a while, ever since Trey and Terrell came through. I’m anxious about the move to the Big 10.”
Southern Cal – “They have a great coaching staff also. They took the time to come out to Virginia and visit my school. USC, they produce a lot of (NFL) linebackers. I wasn’t able to make a visit out there, but I have spent some time talking to the coach.”
