In addition to those we have reported on earlier in the week and last Sunday, has confirmed that the following recruits were in attendance at Virginia Tech’s Junior Day on Saturday, April 5.

– Benedictine (Richmond, VA) class of 2015 defensive end Clelin Ferrell and class of 2016 wide receiver Scott Bracey. Both players have been offered by the Hokies.

Rivals reports that the 6’5″, 220-pound Ferrell has narrowed his list to 11. Not surprisingly, Virginia Tech, which really impressed the talented prospect last summer, is on the list. I’ll catch up with Clelin for more in the coming days.

– Virginia Episcopal School (Lynchburg, VA) class of 2015 linebacker Damien Dozier, a first-team all-Old Dominion Football Conference selection this past season. Dozier, who has not been offered by Tech, is 6’4”, 210 pounds.

– St. Christopher’s (Richmond, VA) rising sophomore Alex Faniel, a 6’4”, 210-pound prospect. Faniel is listed as a quarterback/tight end/strong safety on the St. Christopher’s Hudl page. He is a teammate of class of 2015 star Ricky DeBerry Jr., who was also in Blacksburg last Saturday.

Coleman Fox, a 5’11”, 190-pound rising senior out of Salem High School (VA). Fox earned second-team all-state honors at running back this past season. No offer yet from the Hokies. (Click
