Rivals, Scout, and 247Sports 4-star recruit Shai McKenzie, a senior running back out of Washington (PA), will announce his college choice this Friday, December 20, a 1 pm press conference. The 6’0”, 215-pound prospect has taken official visits to Florida State, Georgia Tech, Pittsburgh and Virginia Tech, but Washington head coach Mike Bosnic believes the decision is down to three.

“I believe Florida State is out of the picture now,” Bosnic said.

With the decision just days away, is McKenzie still breaking things down or is he leaning to one school in particular?

“I think he has an idea of where he’s going to go,” Bosnic said. “He’s still thinking about some things. I don’t think he’s one-hundred percent, but I think he’s getting close. I think he really likes Virginia Tech and I think it’ll probably be between Pitt and Virginia Tech.”
