Positions: McMillian primarily plays quarterback at Hylton, where he entering his third year as the varsity starting signal caller. He’ll play safety in key situations this coming season. Virginia Tech is recruiting him as an “athlete” but he will get a chance at quarterback.
Hylton varsity’s record with McMillian as the starting quarterback: 11-1 in 2011 and 10-3 in 2012.
McMillian’s Sophomore Season Stats: 96 completions in 182 attempts for 1,394 yards, 13 touchdowns, and seven interceptions. He rushed 185 times for 862 yards and 14 touchdowns.
McMillian’s Junior Season Stats: 1,313 yards passing, 1,194 yards rushing, 28 total touchdowns
With McMillian at the helm each of the past two seasons, the Bulldogs enjoyed one undefeated regular season (2011) and a Northwest Region title (2012). McMillian’s 2012 playoff performances were solid, including three touchdowns in a 19-7 win over Battlefield, 212 total yards (162 passing, 50 rushing) and two touchdowns and one interception in the region championship against Colonial Forge, and 103 yards passing with two touchdowns and a pick in the state semifinal loss to Ocean Lakes.
