Torrian Gray has a talented group of defensive backs as usual, though there are depth issues and possibly problems of youth at cornerback.  Also, with the injury to Ronny Vandyke , Gray might have to take on more of a role with the whip/nickel spot than previously expected.

There has been a ton of attrition at cornerback recently.  Antone Exum (#1, 6-1,220, r-Sr.) is still out with a knee injury.  Donaldven Manning and Davion Tookes left the program.  There are only four healthy scholarship cornerbacks in the program right now, and two of them are true freshmen.  The situation at safety is a bit better, however.

Kyle Fuller

Cornerback and Nickel

There is good talent at the cornerback position, but unfortunately three of the four healthy players are a true sophomore and two true freshmen.

Field corner: Kendall Fuller (#11, 5-11, 193, Fr.), Brandon Facyson (#31, 6-2, 188, Fr.)
Boundary corner: Kyle Fuller (#17, 6-0, 194, Sr.), Donovan Riley (#2, 5-11, 204, So.)

For those of you who tough that it was possible for both Fuller brothers to be starting against Alabama, you were proven to be correct.  Kendall Fuller , the talented 5-star prospect, is currently sitting atop the depth chart at the field corner spot.  Behind him is Brandon Facyson , who has earned rave reviews since spring practice.

Kendall hasn’t stood out to me one way or the other in the couple of times I’ve seen him play, but I’ll say this: if he’s practicing well enough to beat out
