Nnadi Talks Top Schools, Future Plans

Ocean Lakes (Virginia Beach, VA) rising senior Derrick Nnadi , one of the top uncommitted defensive tackle prospects in the nation, is focused on six schools at this point in his college decision-making process.  Which schools are at the top of the 6’2″, 305-pound prospect’s list?

“Those schools I was talking about where I really want to take officials to – Florida State, Ohio State, Michigan State, Penn State, and Virginia Tech.  And UVa because I haven’t seen all of UVa yet,” Nnadi answered.

Last week, in an “Ask” question-and-answer session on Twitter, Nnadi revealed that Florida State and Virginia Tech were his top two schools at this time.   In an interview while in Blacksburg this past Saturday, he called Florida State “the number one school I want to go take an official visit to.”

Nnadi has not visited Florida State before.  He has been to Virginia Tech, though, five times.  He was at Tech this past weekend, arriving on Saturday for the Hokies’ one-day camp.  Nnadi and Bethel (Hampton, VA) defensive tackle Ricky Walker are two of Tech’s top remaining defensive line targets in the class of 2014, and both were in Blacksburg on Saturday.
