Hokies finally have a full roster

Virginia Tech signed four players back in November, and two more on Wednesday, which is the first day that prospects can sign during the Spring signing period.  James Johnson added a couple of guys who can play the point guard position – Malik Mueller (6-3, 200) and Devin Wilson (6-4, 185).

At this point, we expect the Robert Brown transfer to be Virginia Tech’s only attrition of the offseason.  Signing Mueller and Wilson will give the Hokies a full complement of 13 scholarship players next season, at least until someone breaks their fifth metatarsal (I’m joking … or am I?).

A full roster of scholarship players will give James Johnson a lot more lineup options than he had during his rookie season as Virginia Tech’s head coach.  It also gives him a third option to play the point guard position.
