Team Rankings

ESPN.com gave Virginia Tech’s class its highest national ranking at no. 19.  247Sports.com rates VT’s class as no. 20 nationally.  Rivals.com ranks Tech’s 2013 haul at no. 22 in the nation, while Scout.com ranks it at no. 33.

In terms of its ACC standing, Virginia Tech’s class ranks third in the conference according to ESPN and Rivals, fourth according to 247Sports, and fifth according to Scout.

(Note**:  Eighteen signees are listed on Virginia Tech’s official Signing Day roster.  The number of recruits counted differs in all four recruiting outlets.  Three of the four, with the only exception being Scout, include gray-shirt Jerome Wright .  ESPN has Tech with 22 players (January enrollees plus February signees and Drew Harris ).  247Sports counts 19 signees plus Harris.  Rivals counts 19 recruits, and Scout counts 18.)
