A rising senior at the time, Dewayne Alford ran the 40 in the 4.6-second range at Virginia Tech’s one-day camp in July of 2010. That’s an impressive time for a player who stands at 6’3″ and weighs 225 pounds. This offseason, Alford, now less than two months away from enrolling at Virginia Tech, has continued to work on his speed as he prepares for college football.
