Virginia Tech is known for the talented defensive backs that are sent from
Blacksburg to the NFL. There are several more guys like that on this year’s
roster, though there are some question marks as well.

Tech has arguably the best cornerback in the country in Jayron Hosley, they
have an experienced senior free safety in Eddie Whitley, and Antone Exum should
be ready to play at a high level at rover. Just judging on the past history of
Tech defensive backs, Kyle Fuller should be fine at the other starting
cornerback spot.

What the Hokies lack is depth at safety.
