2010 Spring Practice Preview: Running Backs

Virginia Tech will have plenty of options at tailback this year. They return
two of the nation’s best running backs, and there is talent behind them as well.
Starting fullback Kenny Jefferson will have to be replaced, but overall Billy
Hite is one of the happiest coaches on the staff heading into the spring.

Hite will have the luxury of running two former freshmen All-Americans, Ryan
Williams and Darren Evans. He’ll also have highly-touted sophomore David Wilson,
who looked very good in mop-up duty at the end of 2009, as well as the reliable
Josh Oglesby.

No one knows how the playing time situation will shake out. Not even Billy
Hite knows at this point. All we know is that there are plenty of options and
plenty of talent.

Note that these heights and weights have not been updated on HokieSports.com
since last August. They are expected to release an updated roster next week.
